Comedy dole queue?
Poor old comedy man supreme Robert Webb. I only found out a week ago that Peep Show had been cancelled and now I can add The Smoking Room to that list. Just as the long-delayed DVD of its first series arrived in the post, too! Talk about bad timing! I hope Ben Elton’s ludicrously unamusing sitcom named Blessed doesn’t get resommissioned or Mr Webb may feel obliged to reprise his role in that. I hope not.
Still, this gives me even more reasons why the BBC must make an entire series of That Mitchell And Webb Look! Wake up, BBC!
