Episode Three… Clarinet, Chip, Pin, Numberwank…
The Green Clarinet has been unveiled at last and now people know what the heck I have been talking about for months. Ditto to Chip & Pin (not forgetting Pin & Cushion of course) so now we can all laugh inside our strange minds whenever we purchase anything with the new safer credit card technique…
This week’s brand new for telly bits were:
Nice Cop Nasty Cop (not very funny actually).
Very Grand Designs at the swimming pool (good throwaway one-off).
Green Clarinet (we have been obsessed for ages).
Chip & Pin (Fish is our favourite).
Early Television (a bit Fry & Laurie/Enfield but we don’t mind).
Committe For Eliminating Social Misunderstandings (We believe David Mitchell actually uses this guide).
So all in all another very good half hour of comedy sketches again. Full marks!
Even The Sun loved this episode and their telly bod described it is ‘funnier than Extras.’ That isn’t all that difficult an achievement in my humble opinion but it’s still good that TMAWL is stealing some of that comedy hype away from Gervais and co.
