New stuff!

A couple of things caught my eye today. One of which I have been looking forward to for ages:

How could  this not be fantastic? A Doctor Who play  from Big Finish written by Eddie Robson (he’s done some Mitchell & Webb Sound sketches as well as loads of good Doctor Who audio things) guest starring TV and radio’s James Bachman (and other great people)! If I didn’t already have a series subscription  for this range I would have now. This comes out in July and here’s a handy link: Link!

The other thing came completely out of the blue (well to me anyway):

This came from the fancy new look BBC Comedy website. Looking good…

    Attic Junk is GREAT! Where and how and who and what (etc), do you have more information on this, please? I love the animation and the voices (DM, RW & JB)are super.

    On a lesser quality (in lot of ways) note, I found a two-parter of a very silly thing called ‘How To Abduct David Mitchell’ on Youtube.

    It’s big on Grand Theft Auto gaming style graphics and OTT music BUT not really funny. At all. One guy does all the (bad) voices. (I think he’s Aussie but trying to be English? Not sure…)

    Thought it still may be of interest though!

    Notes, as such – DM doesn’t drive, has a very excellent jawline complete with designer stuble here (?!) but his hair does seem quite good.

    I know it was written by Chris Reddy and animated by Harry Partridge (more details at http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/extra/video/p007x2h0/ ) but that is all. I like it though!

    Bachman and Mcgann…OMG!! I remember this being mentioned a while ago that he was doing an audio for DW. Wonder if he does his alion impression :) .
